was formed in September of 1995 with the objective of becoming the primary provider of genuine Jamaican refreshments to all of Jamaica and eventually to distribute worldwide.

The this is a test Company moved quickly and, in less than 10 months, machinery had been purchased, a warehouse was converted into a factory and a soft drink processing line installed and commissioned. On July 27th, 1996 the first step to achieving our mission was attained as the first Bigga came off the line.

	Our Flavours We started off with 6 flavours, initially Cola, Grape, Pineapple, Orange, Fruit Punch and Grapefruit. From the beginning we aimed to provide an array of flavours, Passion Fruit and Pink Lemonade. We believed that we could make Bigga even "bigga". In a few weeks we went from a 16 oz. bottle to a big 20ooz., to give our customers more flovour just because we could. But we also knew that we could do "betta" still and, in December of 1997, Jamaica Kola started coming off the line.		Our Philosophy At this time, the Jamaica Drink Company had 15 employees, young Jamaicans with little work experience. Our philosophy is, that as a Jamaica company, we must invest in Jamaica to satisfy out Jamaican customers. Therefore manufacturing is central to this philosophy, which has served Wisynco Group well for over 30 years in Jamaica.
The Jamaica Drink Company Ltd. is owned and operated by Jamaicans, providing refreshments made in Jamaica "Born a yard" for those with a taste for Jamaica
