Bigga Soft Drink in its full range of flavours has become a staple in supermarkets across Jamaica and the phrase. Born A Yard is synonymous with Bigga. School children and adults alike have even been heard humming snatches of Bigga's signature tune song by General B and Twiggy (Go deh Bigga go deh, gwaan Bigga gwaan.) But what is this phenomena that has swept across the island now promising to go much further? Where did it all begin? Where is it going?

The most important choice was still to be made.. the Name.

Nothing is more Jamaican that our language our patois (pat-wa). We realized there was really no choice, the answer was so obvious. It is a greeting, full of respect, a name to call someone who is a friend, or someone you admire. Its is never an insult. It is warm, friendly and encapsulates all we wanted to say. That word is BIGGA

From Craft fairs to street bars, from vendors o schools, from restaurants to home, Bigga became a popular request when refreshments were required. By itself or as a mixer, Bigga truly a big splash across our island. It was high time to make as big a splash across the ocean

The Company moved quickly and, in less than 10 months, machinery had been purchased, a warehouse was converted into a factory and a soft drink processing line installed and commissioned. On July 27th, 1996 the first step to achieving our mission was attained as the first Bigga came off the line.
